“Our reunion for 22 family members (from 4 months to 70) was perfect at Blue Mountain Retreat. The house is above well appointed. With lots of little extras we did not need to go out and buy (spices, plastic wraps, aluminum foil, pantry food items, games, puzzles, a great well tuned piano, etc). The large 3 car garage acts as a play room with pickle ball, basketball, scooters, bike etc. We didn't see the kids for 2 days because they wouldn't leave the foam block room and they loved the secret passageways and slides from one floor to the other.”

“Great retreat place if you have kids. There's a lot for them to do. Foosball table, Lego room, room full of blocks, garage made into a nice rink for them to play in and of course there's a secret slide to the garage from the house. Amenities are nice and has a fire pit outside along with a grill out in the patio. Has around 7 rooms but can easily hold over 20 people!”

How do we decide who sleeps where?

How many bedrooms are there?

Eight bedrooms and four bathrooms in 6,500 sq ft, with beds for 9 queens and 6 twins. Two rooms have ensuites. Use the interactive floor plans to assign rooms before anyone packs.

Is there indoor play if it rains?

Yes. A soft-block room, LEGOs, trikes and scooters, foosball, ping-pong, an indoor pickleball net, and a piano. Rainy Olympic Peninsula days are part of why this house works.

Is there a hot tub?

Yes. A 7-person jacuzzi sits on the property, under the deck near the ping-pong table.

What is the cancellation policy?

Guest receives 100.00% (less $500.00 taxable cancellation fee) when cancel at least 30 days before arrival; No refunds within 30 days of arrival.

Do we need to bring linens and towels?

No. Beds are made with linens, and there are 30 bath towels plus soap at the sinks. Pack extra beach towels if your group wants a pile.

Can we invite more than 25 for a daytime gathering?

Yes, up to 50 people, with a $3,000 event fee. Sleeping is still capped at 25. Call Dave before you print invitations.

Is there Wi-Fi?

Yes. Wi-Fi works throughout the house — useful for a working retreat or for anyone who still wants email.
